Wordless Wednesday: Signage

Spotted yesterday in Redondo Beach, CA:
[Visual description: A "handicap parking" sign nailed to a post, but the sign is nearly covered in radio station and band stickers, and the residue of old stickers. Taken by me, outside Coffee Cartel, Redondo Beach CA, 7 August 2007]

Wordless Wednesday.

I note that the pole itself is oddly clear of signage: my experience is that these things are usually coated with stickers and lost puppies unless regularly cleared. Apparently whoever clears the poles isn't authorized to clean the signs.....

You're right, A. That pole is pristine by comparison. I almost wonder if they reused the sign from a former, more decorated location?

I noticed that the pole was in perfect condition, too. I never thought that someone would have to have permission to clean it off. But it doesn't come as a surprise.

Very aggravating to me.
