Disability Blog Carnival #44 is up NOW!

Go check out the latest edition of the Disability Blog Carnival. Athena, Ivan, and the Integral have assembled a collection of links around the theme of "disability superlatives"--as in "most interesting," "most hopeful," "most irritating," "most ridiculous".... it's a "most" diverting edition.

Next edition, #45, will appear on 11 September at E is for Epilepsy, where Paula Apodaca has chosen the theme "The Future"--so start with the crystal balls or economic charts or whatever helps you look forward a bit, and submit your links by all the usual means: the blogcarnival.com form (warning: inaccessible CAPTCHA there), comments here or there, or put "disability blog carnival" in your post's text, I usually find those.

And I should be able to start posting at DS,TU with more like my usual frequency after this week's back to school festivities.

The 44th Blog Carnival is still not complete. It said that there were still three more posts but they were too fatigued and would add it later yesterday. So far they have not been added. I submitted a post, "Facing Reality", have the receipt for it, and certainly hope that it will be posted as part of that carnival.

  2. True, there's a bit of a cliffhanger. It was the right thing for them to get the bulk of it up now, and come back when life allowed.

Remember that submissions are included at the pleasure of the host--no guarantees. If a post is not included, that may only mean that they couldn't make it fit the flow of the carnival--nothing necessarily to do with the quality of the post itself. Most hosts are very creative and inclusive, but it happens.

Those "receipts" generated by blogcarnival.com crack me up--like, "can I return this submission if it doesn't fit? No? But I've got the receipt!"

I couldn't find where Paula had her blog carnival post, or if she has any, and the carnival site still has the annoying CAPTCHA (sp?), so my submission us at gttoL..astridvanwoerkom.wordpress.com/2008/09/06/no-more-future/
